The chinese pinyin says, "Yu qi zu Zuou hei an, bu ru ran qi la zhu", which means "Better to light the candle than curse the darkness." I love this one!

The sterling silver chain is approx. 21". One lariat end features faceted pale green new jade rondelles, handwired to a turquoise teardrop. The other end of the lariat chain has turquoise heishi, interspersed with tiny sterling disks, handwired to the lacquered chinese pendant. Easy to wear and adapt to many necklines, and what a wonderful conversation starter!
