The Japanese Kanji says "Haha", or "Mother"

The lacquered paper in these earrings is backed with vintage patina brass, for a glint of metal when the earrings move.

The earrings say "Mother" in Japanese kanji, and are decorated with cool little white stars. The ear drops are hand wired to tiny Swarovski crystals in vivid red.

The lacquered drops are in the shape of tiny "dogtags", complete with the little notch at the bottom - very cool! The total earring length is just over 1¼" below gold-filled earwires.

(Note to guys: is she a new mom? These are a perfect first year, paper anniversary present!)
