The Japanese Kanji calligraphy on these earrings says "Alone" or "Solo"
The kanji on these earrings says "hito ri", which means alone (as in, going it solo). In a good connotation! The lacquered drops are a soft aqua, about 3/4" long, with hand-wired drops of lovely faceted chalcedony in a deeper aqua (almost turquoise). Gorgeous gems! The fittings and earwires are gold-filled and the earrings drop approx. 1½" in total.
