Various Rules and Stuff

These rules have not yet been updated to include all 2008 changes

Just to make sure that everyone is aware of these...

Game Times

The game times are as listed in the schedule.

Please try to be at the game field 30 minutes before the game so that we can finalize a line up and get proper warm ups in.

If a player arrives after the start of the game, they will end up at the end of the line up.

According to the official rules, the time on the schedule is game time.

If we do not have at least 7 players at game time, we will be forced to forfeit the game.

If you know that you are not going to be able to be at a game,
please contact either Russ or Jim to let us know so we can plan around a player's absence.

Game Length

Regulation games are seven (7) innings, if time has not expired.

The time limit for all games is 1 hour and 5 minutes.

The inning being played must be finished if it was started prior to the 1 hour and 5 minute time limit.

This time limit also applies to weekend games.

The time limit still applies even if no game is scheduled after the one being played.

Any game stopped because of rain, lightning, darkness or other difficulty shall be a regulation game if:
45 minutes has expired or
at least 3 innings have been completed or
2 and a half innings have been completed and the home team is ahead.

Any game canceled will be rescheduled and played in its entirety.
